An don't take this the wrong way but what difference are these arches compared to a ebay universal fiberglass ones . Thanks

The difference is the finish, these are made specifically for each model and will fit spot on. The universal ones we do are 'stick on' flares that will need some additional trimming and moulding to get a perfect fit. What I tend to say to people is if you want wider wheels but arent bothered how the car looks go for the universal ones but if you want something that'll be more of a 'show' finish then these are the way to go :)

Its just as looking at the list so far i will be waiting a while and kinda want to sell my rays and get arches and wheel on for this summer.

Simon STi 21 January 2014 12:05 PM

Full set Blobeye (carbon) if price is good

Mattybr5@MB Developments 21 January 2014 12:12 PM

very nice arches these I have a set at the work shop I also have the perfect wheels for them also for anyone doing the conversion :)

CarBen Fibre Creations 21 January 2014 01:59 PM

I'll have photos of the arches we will be moulding from soon, I have a blob so I will 'test fit' them on my car and put photos up showing you blob owners what you will be getting. I'll do the same for the bug and hawk aslong as I can get someone local to me willing to loan me their car for a couple of hours :thumb:

Will these be too large for 9J ET20 wheels with 255 rubber?

Are the ABW options not as large??

Cheers,
Chew

You'll need at least a 10" wheel and et10 to fill these properly mate, and loads wider rubber than that

ch3w3y 02 February 2014 04:50 PM

:(

CarBen Fibre Creations 03 February 2014 05:02 PM

Aye as above 9" wheels would be lost in them.

I have the blobeye ones with me, just need to test fit them then get them moulded up ready for production :thumb:

Photos to follow soon

johnnybon 06 March 2014 06:05 PM

Any news :wonder:

Rbon91 06 March 2014 09:43 PM

How wide can you go with these?? Will the blob ones be ok on the widetrack?

CarBen Fibre Creations 07 March 2014 02:25 PM

Sorry for the delay with these guys I have had a lot on recently. I will be contacting people next week to secure deposits and we will start moulding them, it'll take about a month till we get the first set ready to go out.

Most people run 18x11 but ive heard the boys in America have gone wider, they have some long thread on the forums over there.

Rbon91 07 March 2014 03:03 PM

Put me down for a set of carbon fibre ones for blob sti

Rbon91 18 March 2014 03:36 PM

Any update on time scale of these?

BrownPantsRacing 18 March 2014 04:20 PM

These look good. Gets me thinking!

CarBen Fibre Creations 18 March 2014 04:28 PM

We will be starting them next week guys :)

I'll PM everyone on the blobeye list for deposits and we'll go from there.
