Did you get it sorted mate:wonder:

martin850 03 September 2011 08:06 PM

Never got around to doing it today Jon, gona do it tomorrow come rain or shine :)

The sensor did turn up before 12am as promised and I
was impressed with the guy at worldcarparts, very helpful guy.

Mission accomplished, change the sensor this morning and it's all good. :thumb:

Wasn't as straight forward as I hoped though, I couldn't get to it from the top or from the side so I had to remove the undertray and then the heat sheild to get at it. Still only took an hour so not too bad.

After putting it all back together I started the engine and the CEL light was gone :D

Big thanks to Steve and Jon for your help and advice in sorting this out. :notworthy

Here is the offending sensor, clearly seen better days.

Glad you sorted it, I removed mine with the headers off the car when I fitted the ported headers, but I did refit it on the car. I don't have an undertray and with the induction kit I have more room above to get in too:D

I removed the airbox and I still couldn't get to it due to the upper part of the heat shield. At least it's sorted.

Next job is to fit my new oil pressure gauge and sensor :thumb:

What fitting kit have you got, a leaky sandwich plate or the LMA 'cylinder 3' bung kit:wonder:
