I have seen a large cat approach a rat in london and it did not catch it and in fact slunk away after a stand off

london rats are huge (I have seen them up close)-- fed on a diet of fast food fat that is 3 feet thick in londons sewers

but we prob need Harry Hill to sort it once and for all

Like anyone else it probably depends on the individual cat.

Our Fearless Freddie is a large cat I have to say, and if he sees a rat he does not waste a second before he is on it and he despatches it very quickly. I am talking about large rats too. They are country bred, I don't know if that makes a difference from town rats.

They do tend to appear near bird feeding stations too, that why we had some here-but they seem to have disappeared now with the threat of Freddie hanging over them.

Chip

It is an awful disease and very diffcult to cure. It originates in the rat's urine.

What an amazing cat-full respect to Mugsy there!

Doubt if Freddie would push his luck that far.
