Has anyone used any type of spray paint to tart up their intercooler?
Mine is old and tatty looking but I want it to look good again. I don't want to try spraying it with a tin of whatever incase I lose efficiency of the intercooler or just make a complete arse of it. I know I could have it powder coated but just wondering if anyone has tried and tested any type of spray paint? Cheers Rich |
i spraed my old one.
use a etch pimer first, then some thin coats of black. the down side is that stone chips all over the place making it look a mess. so on my new fmic i left it silver but used a black mesh grill instead |

For the Classics the Hybrid GT Spec and new GT2 spec are about as good as intercoolers get.
