Alex M8,
This is unf***ing believable!!
I am just glad your family and yourself were not harmed.

I hope they catch the theiving basta**s and cut their hands off!!

Alex (and Monday's other victims, if you're watching),

Please accept my deepest sympathy for what you've been through. As other people have said, it's everyone's worst nightmare, but at least you're OK and it's over now.

It's at times like now, when we've seen human nature at its very worst, that at least we have the consolation of seeing it at its best in the aftermath. I'm proud to be a member of a group that has taken the incident so much to heart and seems determined to do whatever it can to make sure that future would-be criminals think better of it. I'll be doing my bit.

Best wishes

Andy.

ps. Rob - it's not their hands I'd be cutting off, but something far more personal. Might make them a bit less aggressive afterwards...

A.

Sorry to hear this Alex

I totally agree with Cem.

Threads like this should be sent to Tony Blair, not that he will give a **** cos theres not as much revenue to be made by catching scum and locking them up

Glad you and your family are O.K.
I also live near to you so am worried too. I work for one of the local papers (Enfield, Barnet and Haringey). I have asked them before about this type of crime. Perhaps if people told them they may take an interest in whats going on. Just a thought.

Ok - so we're all a little worried/pi55ed off...so let's do something positive...

Re: writing to the MP's - you can find the address for the house of commons and who you're MP is at this address...

http://www.parliament.uk/commons/lib/lists.htm

I've known several local MP's and they *do* pay attention to issues such as these, just depends on how the party picks it up. I guess it's worth a go?

Better than simply sitting back and taking it (and it's perfectly legal ;) ).

Be careful all you London/big city guys...glad to hear no-ones been seriously hurt yet.

Jen

Once again, I was too angry to spell!
