All's well that ends well..

Gza - any news from the HR people?

jjones 23 January 2001 09:21 PM

RELEVANT INFO!!!

video evidence can be used - ala blokie who got done for doing 175mph on his bike (last blast before selling it), recorded his jaunt on his own camcorder strapped to tank. Was later involved in a minor incident and police used his own tape to prosecute him! DOH!

NOT SO RELEVANT INFO http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif
Stuart H - maybe updating your profile to use the more often used abreviation of the term "police officer". http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif (only joking - much respect for a difficult job)

I did promise to update y'all, so here goes.

HR can't/won't do anything about it because the incident doesn't fall under the "unacceptable behaviour in a work situation"" and the fact that it would be difficult to prove that the incident wasn't simply attributable to dangerous driving, rather than any deliberate attempt to place me in danger. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif

Police have said that they will keep and eye out for him on the MWay, and if spotted, will stop him and warn him about his driving. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/mad.gif But that's about as far as they can take it without a witness to corroborate the events.

So, not exactly the outcome I was hoping for, but not entirely unexpected. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif

Haven't seen him since this, but have been keeping a close eye on my rear view mirrors tho' http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Be safe out there..... http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

I may be being a thick a a whale omlet but here's my two penneth anyway.

You know where he works (it seems!)
What about letting the Police know where he works, surely they can contact his place of work and get his home address or contact details.

Just a thought (don't take this one seriously, OK?), but why not just buy a clapped out landrover, then the next time he tries to cut you up, just don't give way :-) Seems to me the minor scratch on the landrover would be insignificant compared to the damage to his car / ego, should knock him down a peg or two (and his insurance up a bit). Remember, this is not a serious suggestion, but it would be fun http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Cheers,

Pat.

Paul,

I have indeed let the Police know where he works, but whether or not they can or will contact his employers is up to them unfortunately http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif

You can but try http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif
