Basrah again - 50 degree's-ish in the shade, 70 degree's ish in the back of a Snatch Landrover!

Drinking 1.5 litres of (usually on the hot side of warm) water every 20 minutes, and wearing about 40lbs - 50lbs of kit. fun, fun, fun.

Afghanistan in May, full CBA and crash hat carrying out demolitions, do not know how hot it was, but with me being Ginger:) Wasn't a happy staffy.

went mountain biking st Slick Rock in Utah a few years back. 26 C at night, 42 during the day. Slick rock, being a rock, with not vegitation, isn't the best place to be in extreme heat - especially if you're a northerner! I had to lie with my head under a solitory 18" high bush to recover, whilst the guides driddled the remains of their Camelbacks on my head.

Fantastic riding, but don't do it in summer!

Anything more than about 28c and I loose my energy.

43 in Melbourne, plus many other days above 40. Yet I don't find that as bad as many tropical countries where it is 35 but with oppressive humidity.
