Love my scoob, and I think the next will be a scoob. Just in a WRX 95 plate at the mo so the next would have to be either an STI or a P1....Gotta love those P1's!!!

:D

charlieparker 03 August 2007 10:31 AM

I'm pretty sure its going to be a WR1. Allways wanted one since they came out, just not keen on the 6000 mile or 6 month servicing schedule lol.

failing that I would buy 2 cars, a bag of rubbish family car for the wife and kids and buy a Nissan 350z for the fun factor.

evil.soup 03 August 2007 11:23 AM

Either a spec-c hawkeye or 08 Sti impreza, if the look of the Sti is better than the WRX.

The Noble M12 is the wild card:notworthy , as its slowly coming into budget.
I could only do it if i had another junker to run around in as it would be strictly a weekend toy.

AllyJ 03 August 2007 12:34 PM

my next car after a scoob wont be a car it'll be a kawasaki vn900 classic :notworthy oh and im keeping the scoob for a long time to come well until car tax hits a 1k :lol1:

orbix 03 August 2007 12:44 PM

It depends what my needs are when I sell my scooby.
The cars I would like to own realistically are:

TVR T350, although it would be the Sagaris I would really want
VXR220 Turbo
Smart Roadster coupe, for when I have to travel miles for my job
Elise
Volvo S60R
Evo 10
VW camper van done up full bore
My own kit car (one day)
Hawkeye or *cough* 2008 impreza

Luan Pra bang 03 August 2007 01:24 PM

Unless I start to get some more cash

I will sell the scoob and get this

Im on my third scoob now, due for replacement next year.

Im not surprised at how many other people are thinking Noble, Exige etc... Its where im thinking of going.

Although, I'll have to balance it with a second car for family trips. (the wife only has a, iccle 182cup).

Graz 03 August 2007 02:02 PM

Been thinking about this myself. My poor old Scoob is suffering due to all the motorway work it's been getting but this is set to halve soon :) Once I have some money again I was thinking it could be time for an upgrade.

Another Scoob is tempting, possibly a JDM as Powerstation is just over a mile away from where I work. Would also consider an EVO, M3, 350Z, S2000, 911 or a sensible runabout and a weekend car like an Elise. So much choice about though

stilover 03 August 2007 02:07 PM

Looking to change mine either next year or the year after (depends on whats coming out) my list so far is:-

Nissan 350Z
Evo X
Audi S3
Audi RS3 (Please Audi)
Ford Focus RS 4x4 (Please Ford)
Nearly new Audi RS4
911 C4S (996)

SKS 03 August 2007 02:39 PM

On my 4th Impreza now. Every time I change cars I go and drive a few other things (Evos, 350Zs, R32s, Focus STs, 3.2 V6 Audis, Golf GTIs, a variety of BMWs, the list goes on.....) just to see what's out there.

Keep coming back with Imprezas :norty:

What's next? Well on current form......:wonder:

I want to like the new car but it's GD FUGLY. I really hope the new STi will look the part in the metal (pre release images are giving me hope) and goes a lot better than it looks. I'm going to wait until its out before I change again.

If it turns out to be rubbish then I think this time I'll push the cash boat out a bit and get a Type 25.

Cheers,

Stewart.

After my Scoob (MY00 UK PPP with 267/268) I had (and still have) a 205 track car with c 220bhp... nippy!

Looking to sell that (although looks like I may keep it as little interest) to get either:

1) Another Scoob - Type R only one for me.
2) E39 M5 (but all high mileage for the price range I can afford)
3) Evo 5/6

Further down the line I'm thining one of the new RS4's, an E60 M5, or a Noble M400. Also tempted by something like a Monaro!

uksouljahz 03 August 2007 04:12 PM

Next in line will be a Skyline R34 and possibly a Lancer Evo 6 GSR

.... well when I turn 25 and can find an insurance company who will at least give me a quote lol

iain atkins 03 August 2007 05:29 PM

I used to have a well spec'd My97 turbo (had it for nearly 7 years!!!).

Now gone for an S4 4.2 convertible, with all the toys. Although i do miss the subaru the S4 is just sooo well put together and, along with the Milltek system that i've put on, the sound is fantastic V8 @ 7000rpm :lol1: .

Cheers

Starting to get bored with the impreza now and fancy a big v8 motor in summat or other so....... next car hopefully will be a ****ty astra runarond circa £500

And a 5.7ltr cobra replica with a hard top conversion for some fun.

shustir 04 August 2007 02:46 AM

My shortlist currently contains

M3 E46 convertible
996 Carrera 2

WRX marv 04 August 2007 12:43 PM

Mine would be....

3 door RS 500 cosworth.:notworthy

Mk 1 escort RS 2000 with 2 wheel drive cosworth lump in it :norty:

e30 m3

but i would have to win the lottery 1st then if i did i'd have all 3:thumb:

spleenmachine 04 August 2007 12:56 PM

gotta be an ariel atom. Although ive just seen transformers and that yellow camaro is awesome! probs handle like a shed tho:lol1:

Shark Man 04 August 2007 12:57 PM

Think I might go for a Lotus 130+2 (+2 for a little more practacality).

Possibly drop in a newer bigger engine when I get tired of the old twin cam. Possibly a Spyder upgrade kit, although maybe do it myself as a brand new Zetec crate engine is barely £600

Guthrie14 04 August 2007 01:10 PM

SHOW OFF :thumb: lol

I have owned both saphire and escort cossies, it really would be a step the wrong way after a subaru. Reliability on the saphire was appauling and the escort wasnt that much better. Very dated now. I will be sticking with subaru.

I had an Orion 1.6i Ghia many moons ago. It was cool then :lol1: It was even garaged but was still a pig to start on a morning.

WezGT555 05 August 2007 01:26 PM

While visiting Powerstation in my new MY05 Spec C last month, I drooled over a T25 next door.

So thats it, a Grey Type 25!

carnivorous 05 August 2007 01:34 PM

i've changed my mind. if i can afford it, next year i'll sell the scooby, get a Civic 1.6 or something like that for work...and.....
