still unsure what it is andy, will let you know the outcome,
|
anyway, who is running a fp red, and how come your running the green dynamix? surely sticking 2bar in a fp green is pushing its limits,
(im still reading up on all this technical stuff so bare with,) |
T+ ?????????
tell me more :D |

so what is the max boost from this turbo, mate.
|
Im unsure of the max before it starts to become inefficient, however both FP and SM say that the green is more than capable of 30psi. Thats circa 2 and a smidge bar :)
Ive certainly seen 2.1bar from mine, however it was backed off out of mechanical sympathy for my stock rods lol. |

(im still reading up on all this technical stuff so bare with,) I will be testing the SM version of the Red though to see whether that is more suited to Silverstone and Snetterton because of the outright power advantages. As Frayz said, the Green can cope with over 2 bar of boost and from what I have seen charge temps wise, it is not troubling my FMIC at that level. |

Its a combination, normally high rpm will fatigue rods and they will fracture in tension but you can also apply too much compression force to them and they will bend.
The compression force is a combination of rpm and torque. FWIW I have ran my 321T at 2.4 bar on std rods but just for a very short while ie as long as it took to get a torque reading of nearly 600lbft :D |
600

How come the green ? - The first two rounds of Time Attack are at circuits that suit a more responsive and punchy turbo, hence the green. As it turns out, the top end response/power seems to be more that I anticipated aswell. :luxhello:

Thatīs some good news!
So a SR55 or something like that will not be a problem to run with the TMIC! |
