And most women like a man who thinks alot :thumb:

I have an ex. Well, several, actually. But the one I'm thinking of is an ex from long ago. I've been married and monogamous for 20 years, so we're talking ancient history here.

But.

She was the best sex ever. Complete psycho bunny boiler, which is why she's an ex, but stupendous in bed. And everywhere else, now I come to think of it. Ahem.

Anyway, the point of this post? We worked around the corner from each other for a while, and have exchanged the occasional e-mail over the last 10 years. Yes, it took that long for her to stop hating me for breaking up with her, settle down, get married and have kids. All fine and dandy - we even met for a coffee one lunchtime.

Big mistake. Huge.

There's no way I can see her again. Ever. No. Way. Because although we're both married and both love our spouses, we will end up shagging each other senseless.

Ex girlfriends are Bad News. Even when they're ostensibly safe. And even after a long period of time. Perhaps worse after a long period - you forget the irritations and just remember how bloody fantastic she was in bed...

SB (wishing they had cold showers in the office)

I think there should be some creditability given to him at the moment for at least being honest about wanting to get in touch with her at least? He could have kept it all hush hush etc... I dont believe whether theyre an old flame or a new lady friend the bloke only wants to know them for one thing. Although there are plenty of blokes who would be happy to prove me wrong.

talk to him, if he was a decent guy and after being with him for 3 years i'm sure he'll understand..:)

KiwiGTI 20 December 2006 12:28 PM

Mind you we have been talking about the symptoms rather than the actual cause of him wanting to get to know his ex.

Has anything changed since you met? Have you put on weight, become frigid or become lax with feminine hygene?

Nicci 20 December 2006 12:45 PM

Talk to him (stay as calm as you can and listen) and find out his reasons.

Hopefully it is just to catch up (I would be worried though).

Go with your gut instinct.

I've a few ex's like most people on here. It's down to the individual is all I can say. Maybe he will or maybe he won't (have sex with her). You know him best, so sit down and talk to him.

For me, I've a few female friends - none of whom are ex-girlfriends - that I would like to sleep with, but it won't happen for two reasons; I've just got married (hense love my wife), and I'd loose them as friends because, whilst it may be great sex, that's all it would be. However, I see other female friends as just that, i.e. just friends. I've been out with some of these girls (as friends) when we were both single and nothing happened. It could of, I know they would have, if I'd have wanted it to.

You really need to sit down and have a good chat. Keep it light and don't accuse him of anything or he'll get defensive and you'll never know then. Maybe, suggest that you all meet up, then you can way her up.

I have a few ex's 1 of them im good friends with we was together for 6 months but never had a sexual relationship he's helped me through break ups and ive helped him when his gf cheated on him so i guess some ex's we can be friends with without wanting to jump into bed with them

So there wasnt much work required ;)

Usually what i find is that when women want to be my friend they want to shag me, i play around with them for a while as quite frankly i aint easy.

On the other hand, when i want a girl to be my friend its usually just that ;) :norty:

Clarebabes 22 December 2006 03:13 PM

There's a bloke at my work who's friends with lots of girls here, but he wouldn't want to shag any of us ;)

sti-04!! 22 December 2006 03:19 PM

I was going to point you in the direction of my homosexual thread but i see its disappeared
