i wonder what the most expensive plate ever was.....:thumb: There must be loads of plate which are worth a fortune now though. I know AML 1 is owned by Aston Martin and that's supposed to be worth six figures. FU 2 is supposedly worth nearly a quarter of a mill, and 1 A, the first number plate issued, must be a bit pricey too!! |
1 A is an auction plate, this sold for £160,000 plus the buyers fee in 1989. (£203,300)
A 1 would be the original plate, that would be worth loads more. |
[QUOTE=Scooby Snacks 23]I think the most expensive through the DVLA auction was either K1 NGS or P1LOT (can't remember which).QUOTE]
It was K1NGS...................that bloke from Canvey Island bought it.....250k I believe. |

GP 1 is worth quite a bit so im told
a certain Michael Schumacher & Eddie Irvine were reportedly interested in buying it, sums of half a million were discussed Its owned (or was) to a Geoff Pennington who is quite known throughout my home town (allegedly) at the time he refused to sell |
