Useless without the full story

Certainly Ayrton Senna and Richard Burns had an effect on me.

Someone also mentioned Columbia - also upset by Challenger. Always upsets me to watch the accidents again. Both could have been prevented.

Don't think the news of Actors or singers deaths has ever really upset me - sad to hear yes, but not really upset.

Not really affected by the death of celebrities at all but was saddened by -

- death of Keiko (Orca in Free Willy)
- both Shuttle accidents
- the Paris Concorde accident

Could not believe the fuss (will it ever end?! :o ) over the Diana crash - remember when it happened well, going downstairs and seeing it on tv and then going back to bed to cosy with the missus and forgetting all about it. Diana-gate (or whatever you want to call it) was the start of this national obsession with mass-grief - truly pathetic (and something which I hold the gutter press entirely responsible for creating).

I seem to remember being very p1$$ed off when Jill Dando got murdered. Strange but true.

nice to see this has pretty much stayed on track and hasn't de-generated into a war of words
