I've used PS a few times and can't fault the work done at any time.

It's always been quite a long round trip but Dirk told me which roads to go back on to "take advantage" of the new suspension set up lol

Arfan - your rant makes no sense whatsoever.

I've never been to powerstation and I don't know anybody who works there, but slating someone for a) trying to run a profitable business and not pandering to your cheapskate needs and b) throwing a strop cos they had the cheek to carry on working whilst you were there is just flippin pathetic.

With regard to point b) and your complaint that Dirk (?) remained in front of his PC whilst you were there... I wonder what your reaction would have been if you'd found that your required bits hadn't turned up in time for your appointment, all because the staff at PS were too busy nattering to order parts and get on with the the job you'd paid them to do??? How would you feel if PS charged you for an extra 3 hours labour because of the time wasted making you cups of tea???

If your demads are so dictatorial, maybe all sellers would be advised to put you on their blacklist.

Hello again arfan.

in all the places ive been i ve never come across ps for poor customer service.
regarding you mr tesco there must be some thing wrong with you if you dont ask for discount boy. ARFAN
Your first sentence makes no sense whatsoever. Do you re-read your posts before hitting the "submit reply" key? Perhaps you should start:D

Secondly, I DO ask for discounts as a matter of course, and often get them:)

But I NEVER ask AFTER the work is done, only before price is agreed.

And I'd not dream of even trying in Tesco:D Apparently, you would? So what DID they say?? And you never did say how old you were?

Come on boyo, I've answered your questions, now you answer mine.

And try to post without making TOO many mistakes, eh? In English, preferably:D :D

Alcazar (Mr Tesco:D )

I like the bit about the spinner agressively extending under acceleration - my arse!!

Arfan would love one of these "blinging the scoob to da max - in it"

I can't quite figure out what he's complaining about? is it that he didn't get more than 1hrs labour discount or that the PS bloke was using his computer and not paying Arfan enough attention?
Strange..

An entertaining thread this.

And to bluenosewrx, concerning discounts I would not fault anyone for trying to negotiate a discount. The golden rule is that if you don't ask, you don't get. Tesco's would be difficult, but I have negotiated a discount at other high street stores in the UK like Curry's and Dixons. But it's often how you do it which is important. If you do it with a bit of humour and a smile on your face, it's unlikely to cause offence.

Naturally companies would prefer you paid the prices stated, but if you have the option of going elsewhere to get the same goods/services for less money, there's nothing wrong with giving them a chance to match/beat the price to win your business. That's what a free market is. But if you ask for ridiculously large discounts on low margin items then you're likely to to be given short shrift.
