I believe they aimed far to high by staging a brand new event over a weekend, a single day would have been much better, after all there was bugger all to see, i was there two hours, car park viewing included!!!!

That's a shame. Methinks there may be too many "Jap performance" type shows at the moment and it's getting a bit boring? Too many people jumping on the popularity of quick Jap cars bandwagon. There's even another one in a couple of weeks!
To be honest, I prefer shows and meets where there are more than just Japmobiles such as Trax, Rallyday etc. and where there's some action or entertainment. On that basis I might just toodle off to Santa Pod on the 9th just to finish off the year!

Yes tottally agree , Great Venue , Great presentation / Layout , But needed more of everything , Tell you what would make a great camping meet with all the Facilities that they have there

Just so glad that James ( Dusti ) Warned me about the locking of the gates in the Trade Standas area ( Locked till 5-30pm Tonight) I Was meant to be in there with the OILMAN , But decided against it after seeing all the show twice in the first 15 Mintes

Got home just after 1pm , So day not really wasted , + See a few friends as well

Tiny...

Oh yeah glad i had complimentary tickets as well , All the ESC As well + The 2 Kent scoobies that also joined us :)

what a day....

really enjoyed what WAS there - after finally getting there - firstly, washing the car in the dark is not something im gonna do again!! as must have dampened something as had a dead battery at 6am!! (new alternator and battery) BUT i must be the worlds luckiest man as one of my radiator side enclosures burst/split due to rubbing :norty: but the AA man had a brother who drives a RB5 and knew quite a bit!! - (they are plastic - so he plastic welded them!! good job too)

Shame i didnt get to see and chat many of you as by the time we got there and looked around we missed you - didnt even get a chance to look at baz's flaps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:eek2:

hope to see you all soon and the photos are great Baz ( you got my car in there too!!)

Till the next car senario!!

JAP PERFORMANCE SHOW

Good to see quite a few ESC turn up we were quite glad to see you on the sunday, glad you could make use of the spare passes we had, as you were saying the venue was superb and i dont think it would of hurt for them to put the sidc in the basement floor to give the public some proper cars to look at, anyway look forward to this venue again im sure we can swing something better for next year, and give the club more a priority...

cheers WILF
