Terzo,
Any update then!? What did you go for in the end? Reason I asl is that I'm fancying a V6 255 and wondered what it was like from an owner's perspective. Cheers, LC |

All new Clio is out this year or next, so wait for the V6 version of that if you really want one of them. Or get the old model at a cut price...
I'd recommend the VX220 Turbo as well, pretty insane performance and should handle amazingly. You can pick these up for under 20k for quite a new one. |
ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS go with your HEART Buy with your heart, but warn your pocket if you do so. Good choice on the 350z - my neighbour has one, and it's a stunning car :D |
Sorry, 350 doesn't do anything for me, it just hasn't got the specialness and 'exotica' feeling of the Clio V6. According to EVO mag, who had a V6 as their long term test "..it's depth of character and ability was brought into sharp focus by cars such as the GT3 and Gallardo which ought to have been more exciting and special."
They have nothing but praise for the car and agree that it is one of the most special and entertaining cars they've ever driven. It's not all about performance IMHO. The V6 won't win any races, but it'll get you where you want to go with one of the biggest grins on your face it seems. Oh, and when the Stig tested it in the wet, he posted the same track time as the AM Vanquish (also in the wet) which has 200 more bhp! Not bad huh? Does anyone actually own a MKII on here? Cheers, LC |
