HT?

This is a bit off topic but I noticed one of you guys using a Prometeia, you havent by any chance upgraded it to the Lian Li version and have your old biege front for sale? I melted mine... dont ask.
BTW I get 15900 from a XP2800 with a Rad 9700 but that is cooled with a TEC and water block, so your rig could go a lot higher with overclocking than they have it, dunno about that CPU cooler though...

Surely the sofware has to support Hyper Threading Si?

Ask them to test your rig with 3DMark 2003 Blow Dog, its more relevant to todays PC's.

super_si 10 April 2003 06:57 PM

Doesnt have to Jye.

Theres being arguments HT is bad in some circumstances. I know winxp and 2k support it apparently.

benchmarks can vary when its on/off

It comes installed with 3DMark 2003 - so I can only assume that it was tested on 2003.

It was not.

Jye 11 April 2003 10:40 AM

Heheh, absolutely no chance BD, 2003 is a real killer :)

super_si 11 April 2003 09:27 PM

wouldnt expect more then 3000?? on 2003

Mr Footlong 11 April 2003 09:33 PM

Easily over 3000

Mr Footlong 11 April 2003 09:36 PM

Remember, 2003 is far more GPU dependant, I believe he is on a 9700 pro yes?

Blow Dog 11 April 2003 11:52 PM

Right - didn't take that into consideration.
Yes it's a 9700 pro.
