ohlins custom made for the Leone STi.. lower mount was machined new to be used with the oem 2015 STi pillow ball bushing.
https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7625/...aa00fde1_b.jpg |
so since I was making stuff I made pillow ball bushing inserts for my arms in the rear to give it that razor sharp handling...
https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7603/...17b9522f_b.jpg cusco design http://www.cusco.co.jp/en/img/busshing_pillow_ball.jpg Porsche 911 has all most same design look rear arms and they also upgrade with pillow ball http://www.elephantracing.com/suspen...-view-rear.jpg http://www.elephantracing.com/suspen...-view-rear.jpg http://www.elephantracing.com/suspen...es-diagram.jpg |
new control arms on, ohlins on, pillow ball heim joint the hole car.... feels great now just need alignment..
https://igcdn-photos-e-a.akamaihd.ne...83976625_n.jpg was testing it on the track and she handles like a dream... only thing missing was a race seat to hold me. 2015 Sparco Grid.. so light weight from there old line up of seats. https://c2.staticflickr.com/6/5455/1...4aa75899_b.jpg STi axles now https://igcdn-photos-e-a.akamaihd.ne...89794709_n.jpg more pictures and videos of my Leone on Insta-gram https://instagram.com/pinocchio_ok/ |

any spare EJ22t Blocks ?? I have many ej22t blocks but I don't like selling them, when I get them there most likely dirty beat up and stripping and cleaning takes some time. It's possible I can find you one if your in need.

|
thank you everyone for the kind words !!!
so since I was on the track and all most lost a motor to a faulty oil pressure sensor leaking I decided to get some proper equipment to finish the system off and new sensors. Radium fuel rails and Bosch FPR adapter to keep it nice and simple and in series on my spare Spec-c V8 STi intake manifold. I can build the proper lines now then swap them on to my Leone https://farm1.staticflickr.com/256/1...11ba0b5b_c.jpg https://farm1.staticflickr.com/271/1...6ee7fc19_c.jpg also finally finished my new front bumper... JDM/USDM mixed with Canada top trim and impact beam.. fully mutt now lol. https://farm1.staticflickr.com/443/1...7c444720_c.jpg all done no more accidents please !!!... next to my favourite year Subaru 2015 got to get one of these https://farm1.staticflickr.com/379/1...3715cb4c_c.jpg |

I guess I should update this build thread since new parts are being piled up for my Subaru Leone RX TURBO STi, as of now its in storage for winter but was building the Subaru Leone TURBO WRX NB-R Wagon version which can be found here --> http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2687011
https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5709/...ca365bae_b.jpg or insta gram https://www.instagram.com/nico_zone/ so I just ordered these EJ22T oil jets brand new from the dealership which if I remember right they couldn't be sold at the dealership which is a myth !.. also got the JDM STi quick steering sticker for my Leone. https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1660/...d525bc77_c.jpg out of japan I finally found one of these rare STi 6mt Short shifters which was a task and has the serial number right on it from STi factory. https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1480/...abece2c8_c.jpg https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1542/...12de8ae0_c.jpg |
another cool part from japan R180 STi finned rear diff cover, helps cool the rear diff fluid.
https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1667/...f2c680be_c.jpg |
so new season and new SUPER Rare rims for that 90s style square look, these a hard to find even pictures of them !
JDM 16x8 5x100 ET35 Tecnomagnesio ..MAGNESIUM.. https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1617/...29df6da8_z.jpg aluminium caps with snap rings wow ! https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1696/...84d8a076_z.jpg Made In Italy https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1531/...0e3c4113_z.jpg off to the walnut blasting and ready for the gold paint job ! https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1578/...6849a4be_z.jpg |
so been really slacking on updates but lets try and catch up
I add a new turbo the old version died from Anti lag fun lol, new borg warner s300sx-e has better oiling and updated cover https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...fe65cf37_o.png https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...46ae5cb7_o.png |
I also swapped out the turbo blanket for the PTP Turbo Blanket, so much better design and construction then the DEI ones that fall apart
https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...5bfc2a19_o.png I also swapped the Sparco Grid seat for a MOMO racing seat with higher bolsters to keep me snug while I'm on the track, the sparco grid is in my wagon version. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...f6142559_o.png https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...0becbec8_o.png |
