Well what can I say, I would believe you normally, but RS_MATT says it should do 379mpg with the lightweight arb and do a 9second run. So I don't think you know what you are on about really.

Ill listen to the expert please mate!!!!

I looked on you tube at totally different cars so concluded it's possible to do 8 seconds so therefore our leon is faster.:hjtwofing

It's a diesel but I removed the cassette player and floor mats to make it a lightweight racing model.

I want the jdm tdi as it has no glove box light...the ultimate version

RS Matt . . .just out of interest do you know the exact weight of your car ?? Have you had it at the weighbridge?? And a more personal question how heavy are you??

No he hasn't got a clue is the honest answer as he hasn't ever proven any of these theories 😉

Its on the internet therefore it must be true that it happened 😂😂

Had a bit of time out to do a few bits, hoping to drop below my 11.5 pb next run. Less weight, new rubber and a tad more power along with a syvecs 😬

He's made most of it up to try and fit his sti envy.
My old car has gained loads of bhp to fit his rantings :lol1:

That's the point matt you have no idea so you make it up:thumb:

But it's like arguing what's best a commodore 64 or a spectrum.

I couldn't care less I had both, know which was best and wouldn't want another as they are old hat and outdated.

fat-thomas 21 May 2016 08:09 PM

Before you go on a trolling mission again don't bother as I'll just ignore again as I have been because a.it's pointless and b.I don't care and c.nobody else does either

you need over 400 bhp to get into the 12's in an [Newage] impreza.

Persistently claiming since those quotes that you did 12.8 in a 261bhp full fat Newage STI with passenger gives you no credibility at all. Even though you are an obvious troll.

Of course not that requires actually proving your claims.

joe v3sti 23 May 2016 09:16 AM

Cmon tubs be nice and give him a chance, it's only 45min up the road for him

RS_Matt 23 May 2016 10:12 AM

Tom is more impatient than me!

Drag days keep getting rained off :(

joe v3sti 23 May 2016 10:16 AM

So will you be doing totb?

fat-thomas 23 May 2016 10:24 AM

Excuses ..... just a boring troll.
My old blob with whatever bhp you made up today matt did totb ;)

First things first, need to get this 11 second pass conquered to get Tom off my back then I'll be looking at a brake upgrade and see how things go.

I've been throwing the car into corners a bit more to try and get the confidence up, the tyres can take far more than I'm capable of but the brakes (which don't fade) just want to lock up all the time.

The reason I'm looking more at the handling side is that there are two lads local to me who have both bought heavily modded STis and I'm continually meeting them on the local country roads. I blitz them on the straights substantially but they out-brake me easily so any gap is soon closed on the twisties. I thought by making the car uber light it would make the brakes more usable, but I was wrong.

joe v3sti 23 May 2016 11:20 AM

So no totb?

Of course not just make up a tall tale involving being faster than an sti and make excuses.

:lol1::lol1:

I wouldn't rule it out if I make 11's!

Need to address the locking up issue though, I don't want to plough into innocent SN spectators!

joe v3sti 23 May 2016 11:30 AM

It would be a good opportunity to set the story straight surely?

Of course it would but that's all it is....a story.

He can't prove any of his claims so just makes up more sti beating tales instead.
