just look at router stats, usually 192.168.1.254

figures to look for are attenuation and snr (both downstream)

My attenuation was 37 :( so made a dummy connection at the bt cable end and it improved. Then got some cat 5e cable and rewired it (better quality cable means less interference)

Attenuation is now 34 and snr raised (higher snr is better, lower attenuation is better) so one tweak later with the dmt tool, allowed nr 16mb sync. On BE tomorrow I should get over 16mb :smug:

its greatgoing for a walk with the baby and the dog, the baby hold his lead now and the walk takes us about an hour longer than usual cos he stops all the time to give the dog a hug:lol1: plus he only walks at a snails pace:lol1: i try to get out as much as i can with them both

thats the thing mate, were making jakes memories for him now, he may or may not remeber these days but if he doesnt then i will tell him, we took him the safari park the other day and he loved it, he was knackered but didnt want to miss a thing
