Finally fitted mine last night ...one of the easiest mods i've ever done! :D

I didn't fit the ballasts behind the bumper as i was a bit worried that even a minor prang would damage them ...& i found there was plenty of room on the bulk head behind the headlights, near side was a bit tricky, but relocating the horn made things much easier. I also removed the battery, this gave me better access to the relay/fuse box (Subaru having kindly left a space for the HID relay box to fit in!) & also so i could run the wiring behind it ...the wiring then runs neatly under the near side healight & then runs under the top cross member where there's plenty of holes to use cable ties, & finally under the drivers side headlamp.

Finally i didn't even need to drill or self tap to fit the brackets ...I just used Sikaflex instead! :D

Very happy with the results! :)

Can someone tell me if we can still order on this GB?

kapsco 04 September 2007 10:05 PM

hi everyone,

This is Chris from Genuine Auto, the GB is still running !

Genuine Auto was banned from eBay because they didn't allow us to sell in the UK... long story short we've moved away from eBay and opened our website. You can still visit our site and our product information at Xenon Light Source - Wholesale & Distribution of Quality HID Lights Worlwide and XLS Performance

you can contact me directly at xlsperformance@gmail.com with any sales or technical inquiries.

I'm glad everyone is happy with their purchase from the GB over the year(s) and hope to see more inquiries.

We also have other products available on our site (including 2 way car alarms with temperature controlled remote starters) if you are interested in a GB for those items, just let me know.

See you ! :)

There's a couple of UK sellers on ebay selling for around £80 delivered for single beams and £90 delivered for bi-xenon......
Customs will get you on anything from outside of the EU and anything declared over a certain amount. Sometimes its better to buy from closer to home.

I fitted my kit today which I bought from the group buy on here, and as instructed switched them on and let them burn in for 10 mins then car was on tickover on drive, and they went off. Now they won't come back on but full beam still works and they flash on when you let go or turn off full beam, any ideas please??

thanks

Is this still on going and really how easy are they to fit????,

turbotimmy 30 March 2008 10:18 AM

has anyone tried to get spares from this supplier, cant seem to get in touch as the link to their site doesnt work?

jono300 17 April 2008 11:23 PM

Did anyone ever find out an answer to the above question ?? purchased one off there kits a while back and must admitt to being 100% happy with both there kit itself and the service from the suppliers themselves just wonder if the compnay / garage is still trading ??

jono300 09 February 2009 04:02 PM

Anyone else who took part in this particular group buy and choose the 8k option notice that there bulbs dont appear to be as blue as they should be ( not a bad thing I here a lot off you say ??!! ) nope although mine are labelled up 8k they deffinatly are more off a white with a hint off blue whereas I am correct in saying they should be a deffinate blue colour ??

excellent company to deal with thou, had a small fault after a few months with one off the ballasts and a quick phone call and return off the faulty one resulted in a new one being sent back all a no extra costs ie postage etc.

just wonder if anyone else has noticed there 8k bulbs appear to be not 100% 8k ??!!
