I couldn't sell mine for toffee on here last week, admittedly bad timing, then after three days on eBay I had countless offers. It almost ended in people fighting to turn up before the other turned up. Anyway it's sold for my ask price albeit no where near this spec and worth ;)

Good luck Micky, eBay and pistonheads is probably the way.

Rob

thanks for the subframe on sunday rob..top fella.
your car must of sold just after I left..
all the best..

micky boy 28 December 2013 12:49 AM

Sorry for late reply. It's got the eye popping tax disc in the window :-)
I've decided to keep the car now as it's to good to break. All though big fud made a sensible offer on it, I have spent thousands on it and has no expense spared it would be a shame to give it away.

Cheers mickyboy

mick your right to keep it its awesome.
its Darren, alans pal from the toon btw,i remember when you first got it and the engine was in the boot:eek:
I just couldn't remember if it was the cheap tax model or not.
btw I would of had it straight off you if it had mud flaps;)

micky boy 29 December 2013 12:55 AM

I fail to see how you can say 20k is a lot of money for the amount of work and money has been put into this.

Thats how it is at the moment
There are a few cars for sale on here for big money but they all seem worth it
Its a shame mine is one of them, I have had a bit of interest but no offers at all

+1.I totally agree, but to be honest I would not of even replied to that comment, being in the process of doing a build myself and seeing first hand what other members go through with there projects I can appreciate how much money, time, sacrifice goes into a proper build worth 20K all day long and that's getting it cheap.SJ.

I wasn't saying to let it go cheap, you just need to wait for the right buyer
Mine is for sale to fund something else, and I have found the something else so may have to let mine go a bit cheaper

If you want to see a lot of money check this link!
in my opinion micks is a steal for the money spent, and the outcome is a lovely looking and top spec car which I would easy have over its twice as expensive and twice as ugly competitor:eek:

I I recall reading this on scoobynet. What I find interesting, or should I say surprising is that the price really doesn't reflect that car at all where micky's does and some. ....

Apart from rare models, I find that a well spec'd car is worth more in parts (car broken) than as a whole running car, ie we know micky's would be. But the revolution car is probably worth £20k in parts, yet over £40k for a running car!

Micky's car is a bargain.
