I don't want to get into a long argument but I'd just say that I've tried Bosch's best, Rain-X, and PIAAs, and I know which I keep coming back to and which save me money. I ought perhaps to have added that if driving under streetlights or with lots of oncoming traffic, I do find I need to sweep my PIAAs every now and then. But each to his own.

Glass cleaner = Rain X or similar
Wipers that coat windscreens in silicon = Bullsh1t
Are they any better than Bosch + rain X = No they are worse because you will still have some Rain X left to top up the beading effect ;)
