Nice, I also had a 1.9 in white, had a mi16 lump n throttle bodies in it, 180bhp, I see yours has the usual rust in the corner of the drivers door? and probably at the bottom of the rear quarter too, really easy to sort.

Yes mate its got about 3 bits of rust top of the drivers door, little bits around the front windscreen and a small amount on the rear quarter, doesn't look horrendous so will get it sorted :)

I do like the badgeless grille but gonna keep mine original apart from the 1.9 wheels as I prefer them to the 1.6 ones :)

That was an uber rare Gutmann Grille, paid a ridiculous amount of money for what is basically a lump of fibreglass, it wasn't even painted! bloody jokers :)

Ah the Gutmann stuff, I remember all that stuff! Some nice bits they had for it! Just like some bits for Subarus too lol

looks great merv and always wanted one years ago but never got around to having one , The old hot hatch cars are great and easy to work on too
