very nice, I like seeing a true craftsman's work. May I ask are you apprentice trained?

I did 2 years at Salisbury college doing hand crafted cabinet making then I started work at fordbrook kitchens about 10yrs ago and Just learnt from there learning all the jobs in the company to produce the normal kitchen units the. Adapting it into the curved side of it.
Cheers

How are the door tops curved?

Be amazing if the round one was on a swivel :D

Very nice :thumb:

We have done units that rotate on a lazy Suzy so 360 deg spinning.

The curved doors, I machine the top and bottom rails out of solid timber on the cnc. Then groove and tennon square stiles onto the curved rails which then I shapes by hand with curved hand planes and finish with orbital sanders.
All finish is by feel and eye due to the curves.
Cheers Chris

That looks great, but IMO its how it feels that makes the difference. How do you finish off the doors etc.

A typical oak kitchen, how will you finish it off?

Depends what kind of finish they want bud, we offer
Satin laquer(60%) sheen
Matt laquer
Tinted laquers(any colour)
Bleach it with white stain, rag it off so it stays in the grain then laquer over.
Laquer with Patine over the top(Patine like
A dark brown think stain that is sprayed onto the faces/lines
Cracks/joins etc then waxed off the face to leave it in the joints to give an antiques effect etc.
cheers Chris
