to say he is thick, does a disservice to the intellectually challenged

he would deffo fall for a scam like this (he prob has tbh)

Most of the courses aren't worth the paper they're printed on, not to mention a chimp with a monocle could pass 90% of them.

So true, i come into contact with quite a few so called "intelligent" people, professors and multiple degree's abound, through my wife's work, she's quite smart too, She's out in india setting up a new University at the minute, but i'm the one who gives her the solutions to many a work related problem,:lol1: go figure, i guess they called it a comprehensive education for a reason,:lol1: I quite often wonder how they manage to get dressed in the morning and make it through the day.:wonder:

The term "educated idiot" is such a truism.

not a bad one as it happens

This is true. In this case i think it's a case of people potentially trying to outwit the scammers, by thinking too hard about it. Occupational hazard i'm afraid. So it's probably only the highly intelligent or utterly dense who'd fall for it. Everybody who's "average" is safe. :)

i will get in trouble if my other half sees this but hey.

shes got 2 degrees , 1 is a masters

do you know with salad ,it says on the label or its common knowledge you have to wash it.

The biggest giveaway is when they don't bother to mention what it is that they are buying, just referring to "the item" or something similar. Because they are cut'n'pasting to loads and loads of adverts. If they don't name the item, and ask at least one proper (non-generic) question then it's a scam.

Harsh but fair ;) I was going to say in the other Merc van grammar thread you were over complicating things a bit too much for your own good about the pate :)

I'm an old duffer with incontinence and memory problems ..... but, even I can see this is a scam - spelling, grammer, I wouldn't sell my zimmer frame to anyone who couldn't string a sensible sentence together!!
