Reading the packet, their value burgers are low in fat, but surprisingly high in shergar :Suspiciou

TelBoy 16 January 2013 08:10 AM

Tesco are refusing to name their mane supplier

TelBoy 16 January 2013 08:13 AM

Is it any coincidence that hamburger is an anagram of Shergars bum? :wonder:

DARB 16 January 2013 08:36 AM

I've just said to our lass "they've found horse meat in Tesco burgers, me mam must have eaten them when she was pregnant with me, if ya get what I mean" and gave her a little wink, she just replied " yeah she must have, that'll explain the long face ya miserable ****" !!

Certainly need to rein in those shoddy practices

Addressing these issues one by one will be a good tack-tick.

I heard it straight from the horses mouth that they will not be disclosing what is in their cheapo Rum.
They deny taking the piss.

It could be a grand national disgrace.

specialx 16 January 2013 09:59 AM

Tesco every little helps, Who they trying to foal!!

Wurzel 16 January 2013 10:49 AM

If horse tastes anything like zebra then it should be quite nice.

specialx 16 January 2013 11:22 AM

Tesco horse burgers, what ever next, my lidl pony

urban 16 January 2013 11:24 AM

Beef Burgers

Be very careful who you buy them from

Otherwise you'll end up part beef, part horse, or maybe a bit of pig.

Don't quite understand why, I already know who it is, and its not difficult to make a connection with all the news flying around.

LOL :D

Apparently there is no health risk whatsoever and horse meat is better for you than cow. Get em down I say :p

:D

Bet they feel sick though, having ate 'dirty' meat

davyboy 16 January 2013 12:54 PM

...but they wouldn't have eaten them as it would not be halal meat. So actually there is no joke here and nothing to laugh at.

^Qwerty^ 16 January 2013 12:56 PM

Bit of a lead story on the Breakfast news this one. So the likes of Tesco etc. have come out and said there is no risk and everything is perfectly safe. Now whilst that might be true when it comes to eating pig/beef/horse burgers per say, there clearly is a risk, since meat has entered the food chain which they can't account for. If they could account for it, it would never have been there in the first place.

Don't really care that certain groups of people might have been eating pig meat, since I find it quite offensive that I might have eaten meat sourced from an animal that was killed inhumanely to satisfy some whim that an animal has to be tortured to death to make it acceptable to eat – because their made up friends said so.

J4CKO 16 January 2013 12:56 PM

I am really not bothered, was on a school holiday in France once and they had the most wonderful looking steaks being cooked, we never really saw steak that big or juicy but nobody seemed to be partaking, we got told they were Horse steaks and had three each :D whilst a lot of our firends, especially the female ones looked on dissaprovingly, one (who was a horse lover) went off crying ffs, they were delicious.

Luan Pra bang 16 January 2013 01:04 PM

I ate some of those burgers, made me a little hoarse. After that I got depressed, kept telling tales of Woe.

When meat was scarce and heavily rationed, we used to get horse meat at times and it was perfectly good to eat.
