He didn't get chinned the first time, he got hit very hard on the side of the neck which is painful (for those that know what it feels like), big clump of nerves that send you reeling.

He did well to recover (just) but Garcia was in the for the win after that.

In my opinion Garcia was the better fighter on the night, Khan lost because he got caught up in all the hype, the promotion and the glamour and then went up against a street fighter.

boxing aint what it used to be,
my dad's an ex Amateur boxer, and i was raised on video's (vhs...lol) of ali, ben, tyson,
these were boxers, this Khan is just overated if you ask me.
like whats already been said, he went toe to toe with a fighter, instead of using his speed and boxing, ah well....woops :)

He ^^^ was a cocky c*nt who quite rightly went to prison after nearly killing someone in a car crash and then running away from the scene.

Khan is no better

No its definitely not.

I always though Tyson was fantastic, and loved to watch his fights.
I especially remember how he knocked the crap out of Trevor Berbick to win his first title.
Berbick hadn't got a clue how to cope.

Never been a big fan of Khan's, despite being a big boxing fan. I just think he was the result of some clever marketing, exploiting a gap.

his own fault im afraid, im pretty sure freddy roach,s game plan wasnt to stand toe to toe with a known big hitter and get tagged. ego got in the way for sure.

khan is a good boxer. People say he is cocky, maybe he is, so is mayweather, most boxers do have a degree of cockiness about them. People saying khan should retire, wtf he is only 25, pacman has lost more than khan. Seems to be typical brit mentality in here, brilliant when winning but rubbish when losing! The only thing lacking with khan is discipline to stick to a game plan, if he learns from his mistakes (he did after prescott for a while before going back to his old ways) then he has the potential to be up there

Ant 18 July 2012 12:13 AM

but mayweather has the skills to back up his cockiness.....khan on the other hand......

I don't know why folks think he is a cocky or the same as Naseem (who was/is a d*ck)...is it because he is Asian (I am pretty sure it is).

Khan has been pretty professional in my opinion and come on for ffs, this is high profile boxing where a lot of money is lauded about so no doubt these guys are gonna live it up like kings and be a bit arrogant.
