Considered it a few times mate. Probably worth more in bits. There's certainly some quality kit on it. Tbh I've not really got the time to break it. Mocom did offer to help which I appreciated. Hopefully won't come to that though.

tubbytommy 22 April 2012 05:38 PM

if your breaking give me a shout im after a few bits:thumb:

Cocker 23 April 2012 09:52 PM

I'd possibly be interested in some stuff if you decide to strip Boyd

X70cky 24 April 2012 06:27 AM

Same here mate and I will start with the turbo.....fuel pressure regulator....up pipe.....possibly headers.......all cash waiting,,,,possibly more parts off you too fmic!!!

53 24 April 2012 09:04 AM

If you can buy this car for offers over £7.5k then the market is truely fcuked :(

IMHO if you can't afford it then fook off lol :lol1:

Hold out Boydy mate :) it's silly spec for sub £10k ! :)

X70cky 24 April 2012 09:17 AM

It's a wicked price and spec fella......like a pal of mine running 590bhp in a 06 hawk stone mint.......£10,000......it's going back to standard to trade in......just picked a 12 plate wrx sti up.....If he could transplant the lit he would but not possible......funny old game lads ;0)

Cheers Stu. All I've had so far is messers. Nothing serious at all. Got a bloke coming down from Bedfordshire tonight. Knows Impreza's and sounds serious. £7.5k is peanuts when you consider what I've spent :(

Lesson is don't tune cars lol ;)

Scooby Dan 24 April 2012 03:14 PM

It's getting ridiculous , I am having the same problem shifting my 450 bhp Hawkeye . It's the right colour , has won show and shine trophies , has been on the cover of Redline and has had around 30k spent on top quality upgrades . I am asking about 3k more than nice standardish ones are fetching and I have had very little interest .
Anyway rant over , good luck with the sale .

B0DSKI 24 April 2012 07:42 PM

SOLD

And I'm totally gutted :( Tim the guy buying it is a fellow car nut and back in Scooby's after 18 months or so out. If you see this enjoy the car mate.

Deposit left and being picked up once I sort out another car.

Mixed feelings then Boyd? I know I had them when I sold my S202 as it's nice to sell the car once you've made the decision to sell, but after all the time and money invested into your car it's a real shame to see it go. :(

Onwards and upwards, good luck with the replacement. :thumb:

Jamo 24 April 2012 08:27 PM

come buy my Porsche now :D

Very much so Ty. Glad it's going to a good home and not some snot nosed chav. Never owned a car for longer than 3 years until this one. Feel very gutted at the mo and I guess when it drives away I'll be even worse.

Do I get a free blue and white striped shirt and red tie to wear whilst driving it ?? ;)

SirFozzalot 25 April 2012 04:10 PM

Sorry to see it going Boyd.

Looks like it went for a bargain price too. :(

This is the main reason I have no plans to sell mine, it's just not worth it for me.

If you struggled to get £7.5K with a spec like yours what does that make mine worth? :( ......actually, don't tell me, I'd rather not know! :lol1: :D

Tell me about it Ste. Guessing all the work time & cash that went into getting it to where it is ultimately counts for nothing. Bet you would get similar money for yours even without all the mods. They count for nothing when it's for sale. I would of got more for it if I broke it :(

KAS35RSTI 25 April 2012 08:40 PM

Well done Boyd. Someone got a good motor

B0DSKI 02 May 2012 08:05 PM

Just test drove a BMW 530D M Sport....

 Boring, heavy, over assisted brakes, not much go, auto box wasn't smooth, fuel computer said less than 15 Mpg when I booted it and only read 30 mpg when cruising. 2005 with less then 50k on the clock.

Scott@ScoobySpares 02 May 2012 08:13 PM

get a 535d m sport and get it mapped up that will make you smile a bit my bosses is standard bar remapped by andrew carr and its something like 450 foot pound pulls really well
