any negatives about BOV's in general? thought i heard folk say they can cause spikes in boost or something.

Ive never had any issues with them. They used to have issues with cheap bov's on evo's, but never heard an issue with a decent one installed. If ya want one, pm me your number and ill let you know when they arrive :)

Has anyone else ordered one for a bugeye? i got an adaptor from demon motorsport but the bov doesnt seem to sit correctly with this adaptor, seems like it needs to be angled???

It is a tight fit on the bug and blobeye but it will fit. Depends what you mean by angled? Obviously you can adjust the rotational angle but you cannot angle it away from the intercooler. Get the rotational angle right and it just nestles in between the inlet manifold and the i/c. There are 2 difficult bits to installing these. Firstly, getting the big circlip on is a pain unless you you have a big pair of circlip pliers!! Secondly, the bolt into the right hand side of the adaptor plate has to be put in first by hand then you have only room to make about 1/8 of a turn with a spanner. Persevere with it though 'cos its worth it in the end :thumb:

Hi Buddy,

You will require a diamond adapter plate ( available from the link at the beggining of the thread ) and possibly a blanking plug. Can't remember if you need one for the new age models!

Hmmmm, that's an interesting point. I've got an APS top mount on my bugeye so will the HKS DV fit ok together with the adapter plate?

It should fit no problem. The plate replaces your exsisting recirc setup so should be fine.
