I am sick of them. I liked Lotus so much that I was serving them in every meeting I organised. Everyone had to do with them because they were my favourite. Once I took a packet to a lecture, as a re-energising supplement. In break time over a cupper, I asked around if anyone else wanted one. Mr. professor/lecturer extended his arm to try one, and ate about 8 of them one after other! "Ummm....... they are very nice! Where are they from? They taste Belgian." Then he was researching the information on the packaging all that time until the break was over. I myself overdid with those biscuits so much that the thought of them now makes me feel like chunder. Good biscuits, though.
more reseached needed, they were def. very base elements tho , for sure |

These - http://www.melburyandappleton.co.uk/...hins-683-p.asp - are by far the best biccies you can get.
They'll convert even the most ardent anti-biscuit person into a biscuiter :) The wife normally buys them by the tin when she's in Sweden. |
Fox's Sport

"...Garibaldi, Italian revolutionary, ends up as a kind of biscuit. It's quite interesting, you know, the number of biscuits that are named after revolutionaries. You've got your Garibaldi, of course, you've got your Bourbons, then of course you've got your Peek Frean Trotsky Assortment." [sings] #Revolutionary biscuits of Italy Rise up out of your box! You have nothing to lose but your wafers Yum yum yum yum yum!# |

I'm addicted to spekculatius spiced biscuits.
I think they are German. My mother in law gets them from Lidl or Aldi or one of those supermarkets. |

Only 9 in a pack, depending on mood it's either too many, or not enough. Choco Leibniz (Dark). £1 a pack currently in Sainsburys

+1 to Lotus Lydia72,i always get carried away with them and usually eat most of a pack in one session:D
I have been known to dunk & eat a whole pack with one cup of tea! They are based on Belgian Speculoos. Haagen Daaz did a Caramel Biscuit Special Edition ice cream with bits of them in and it was awesome. Also make a very good base for cheesecakes. |
