"Excuse me, I couldn't help nowticing that I appear to be considerably more Northern than yeow."

Turbohot 05 March 2011 12:48 AM

You end up in Manchester if you follow the signs to North West on the motorway. That's if you are coming from South-ish end. So, Manchester may be at the bottom of the North, on the West-ish side of the country. I could be wrong, though. :wonder:

It doesn't matter to me anyway, as I don't judge people based on where they are from. :smug::D

Easy when I know what I am saying
If you have it, so what, so do I , but I don't feel the need to brag about it.
Is that any better?? :D

(I was trying to be funny but failed :(:D)
North/South divide is alive and well and just as big a joke as it has always been. North cannot stand South and South thinks they are better than North.
Go figure. :lol1:

We ARE better than you ;)

Manchester is north of London, therefore, its north :D

Manchester has some really affluent parts and many scummy parts as Jacko says. I grew up in the middle around 4 miles from the city centre...

I think its a great place to have grown up. I have visited London and its suburbs many times, and without exception every city/town/village i have visited is a sh!thole..

Its an awful place to be..:(

And the beer is awful...:(

And they dont sell gravy for your chips...:(

And in general it smells unclean...:(

And prices for everything are astronomical...:(

Would that also make it the northern most southerly point?
