Has everyone got owt nice planned? It's taken me 3hrs to drive home from work so I plan on doing nothing tonight but catch up on my sky+ and sleep! Rock and roll eh :lol1::lol1::lol1: We're all knackered now! |
It wasn't a proper party if there wasn't jelly and ice cream.
Regardless of it being a 5th, 50th, engagement, wedding reception.. it's not a good party if there isn't any jelly and ice cream. |
Well it was his party and he hates jelly so no jelly.
There were cup cakes though - very fashionable nowadays! |

Best known as the lead-singer of British rock group The Mission and guitarist with The Sisters of Mercy, he will be performing with special guest Simon Hinkler who was lead guitarist with The Mission from 1986 to 1990 and was unable to play a solo set down to band issues. Another coup for Jo was securing a performance over Goth Weekend from special guest Miles Hunt from the Wonder Stuff – best known for their 1991 hit Dizzy with comedian Vic Reeves. Also lined up to play are Autumn Cannibals, the solo project from Jeff Diehm (vocalist from The Last Dance) who will bringing his full band, featuring members of 45 Grave, Mercurine and I Still Have Nightmares. Other acts include Manuskript (as part of Manuskript’s Big 20 – featuring special guests), The Stripper Project (featuring Neil Ash and Kyle Whipp ex Children on Stun), Pro-Jekt and The Last Cry. :freak3: |
Looking at that list, it must have been 2007 when i was there last as I remember missing the Cruxshadows and being gutted about it.

Is there ANYTHING that you cannot politicise? These were cakes for a five year olds birthday party.
And with decorations they cost a whole 21.4p each and were made in the old fashioned way in a kitchen. Not very bourgeois is it - I mean home baking - oooh! |

Oh, I'll take a look when I log in later. Will wish him Happy Birthday there, too. Thanks :) |
Just made Mr Luck a slap up meal, he lives on frozen meals during the week when I'm away so he's currently tucking in to ...
Home made chicken pate, home made melba toast and tiny prawn cocktail to start Huge rump steak (his favourite), garlic mushrooms, home made pepper sauce, home made bearnaise sauce and some rocket salad. Home made red berry frozen yoghurt 'ice cream' for pud. I like making everything from scratch, i however dislike both pate and steak :lol1: |
Scratch what?

Les ;) I survived my halloween mine trip, so no need to send that Chilean rescue pod out to find me :lol1: |
Got to be good then.
The search party is recalled, only slightly pissed off! Les ;) |
