Its a production car build with the requirements that it won't go pop after 2k miles and comes with a warranty. So no I wouldn't put it in the same catagory as a modified non-warranted jap barge.

My mate had a Starlet that would destroy E46 M3's on a regular basis, he pumped silly money into it but never the less it was a tin box that smelt of petrol, had very little way of comforts or even an interior, wrecked gearboxes, pistons and turbos plus it made him look like a wanker. When a BMW driver is less of a wanker than you, its just a complete fail no matter how fast you are.

Yaaaawn yaaawn yaaawn.

Reason cars like Evos, Skylines and Scoobs have a bad/chav rep? People like you thinking their 5 bob bazzed up rice rockets are faster than anything on the road.

Even with 4000bhp your old Skyline will still be an old Skyline.

Hey my modest 240bhp Golf R32 was faster around the Top Gear track than an SL55 AMG Merc because the Merc is heavy. Which would I rather have had? The Merc any day of the week. Same comparing your tired old R33 to this amazing new AMG Merc.

While you froth over 0-60 and track times (always carefully selected), Mr AMG owner is enjoying his beautifully engineered PROPER car that'll probably blast to over 200mph - 50mph more than the point at which your STi and R33 would have blown up.

End of.

Tony, you never answered the questions

1) Whick trackday 'weapons' (only a plonker would call a car a weapon anyway) have near 600 BHP twin turbo charged V8 engines?

2) You still haven't told me which countries have 'high culture'

Its quite simple in terms of the AMG mate, if I want one I could buy one without batting an eyelid. So why not? You may see it as unneccesary I see it as I want a fast comfortable car, so why not buy the fastest most comfortable car out there? If you can afford the best why not buy it? And I mean truly 'afford' it, not by remortgaging the house. You can't take it with you after all:thumb:

Now that may seem vulgar to you but its just the lucky position I find myself in. There are those with a fleet of such cars who are far luckier than me, doesn't make them vulgar in my eyes as long they never treat people differently depending on their wealth

I'll make my mind up next year as the F10 BMW M5 is out and having loved the one I have at present I want to see the new one before I make up my mind. It looks a little boring from early pics, but then subtlety is often handy when driving through some dodgy parts of London!:lol1: Here are some pics from those
who are interested.

Subtle + fast = ideal

Looks the mutts nuts to me.

However I'm buying and F23 fighter jet once they come out. And I shall not bat an eyelid at the cost ;-)

Really? Then your command of the English language is perhaps lacking :D

2) No person needs that sort of power in a barge for cruising in my opinion.
EFA :thumb:

3) What is being resourceful a reason to want this car??
I didn't post that being resourceful is a reason to want one. I posted that being resourceful may provide the means to aquire one. Is English perhaps not your first language Tony, as you really seem to struggle with comprehension.
