It was brand new and he launched it once, they took it back as he kicked off in the showroom....

They said it was a "safety" to protect the gearbox.... or they are **** and he was better off in an "Animal", YAK !

The standard Evo 6 speed clutches are slightly bigger than the 5 speeds and can handle upto 450Ib/ft if you don't launch them. But your better off opting for a twin plate if you intend on doing so, but the 6 speed gearsets are not a strong as the 5 speeds and most people swap to a 5 speed box when running higher power outputs. Evo transfer boxes can be a problem if not serviced regularly and second hand units are expensive due to demand being high.

I run 562 BHp in my daily driven P1 with no problems at all in 30,000 miles.

Much will depend on the quality of the build.
