Turns out I don't need a dual beam H7 as it is only the sidelights that come on with the dipped projector (they're bright).
So I've got one H7 bulb in each lamp that is only main beam. My question then relates to the Impreza H7 fitment (Prodrive Bugeye): is there any difference between the two H7 bulb types (one for dipped, one for main) or is it just that the beam is thrown differently in each? If the latter, would it be suitable for an Audi S4? Thanks |
Hi BOB'5.
I am thinking of purchasing a kit from you for the main beam. I have had several HID conversion kits before (not your kits though) and they took quite a while (5 to 6 seconds) to reach full brightness, which was a bit annoying in the main beam. Have these newer design units managed to reduce the time it takes for the light output to reach full brightness? Do you have any idea how long they take to reach full brightness please? TIA |

Even if there is, we can supply canbus cancellers if needed. :thumb: |

Hi BOB'5
I might be able to get my order in when I have the info to decide whether to buy or not ;) I have had several HID conversion kits before (not your kits though) and they took quite a while (5 to 6 seconds) to reach full brightness, which was a bit annoying in the main beam. I've never noticed a delay and lots of people fit them to the main beam without issue :)
I will try and take a vid on the weekend for you though :thumb |

In the H4 fitment for a classic, which type are the kits you are selling?
HID for both hi & lo, HID lo & filament hi, or HID for both with the moving reflector? |
