Please don't eat in these crappy places, find a good local that does quality home cooked food and decent beer, there are many around and I'm sure they'd be glad of your business. It may be a little bit more expensive but the quality will always shine through. I far rather be helping to keep these types of places going than some faceless pub super chain that churns out microwaved lasagnes to the masses for £3.99 :(

True, to an extent ..... but, if I have a bad meal in any place - I simply do not pay for it ..... and don't go back.

Last Friday at Harvester was a surprise, great food, good service, good value, brilliant Salad cart ...... a change from my expectation, I have to say.

The drinks were awful, that said ..... I ordered Fosters, didn't get Fosters - or it didn't taste like it - wife ordered wine and got the wrong one!

So, yes, they have a way to go ... but, they won't go to the wall IMO
