So Pooder, you'd buy a Robin Reliant if it had 3 wheel drive and a turbo then?

Some of you make me laff.......
Lardy this........oversized that......compared to what exactly? Well sorry to dissapoint you but compared to an Elise your P1 is an oversized, lardy arsed, understeering bag of bolts, just as an M5 may appear oversized and "lardy" to the new Sti. Get a grip[ and stop thinking you've found the holy grail in an old style Impreza. Having had access to a P1 for the best part of 18 months and owning a WRX for a year I can assure you the new car is not found wanting in the handling stakes great though the P1 undoubtedly was. Granted the WRX is slower than the old style Turbo but not by that much in the real world. Anyway most of the new cars extra weight comes from beefing up the chassis to increase both the cars stiffness for better handling, while greatly improving your chances of survival if you have a prang.
There I feel better now
Cheers

Just to quantify....P1 weighs in at just under 1300KGs, where as STI tips the scales at 1470KG's. So the difference is about three normal sized adults or 1 and a half Harj's (sorry mate) :D

sorry mate, but if you were travelling at 120mph the fool on the road is you, not the other guy.

If the back went everywhere that means it slowed down when supposed to, meaning the brakes are fine, the problem of weight shift is suspension related, not braking.
