hi 2 questions,is there no chance of getting the orange calipers at the same price?
and if i went for the 330mm kit when i needed to replace the rotors could i fit the 356mm rotors instead??
at the moment i run 17's through winter but will hopefully get another set of 18's next year

Hey Bren,

Is this groupbuy the same as one of the banners on the site advertises?

If so I might be interested in a set of FRONT 8 pot 330mm, with the Ferodo pads.
Could you pm me the total value including transport for Portugal.

The arrival time for the order is still quite long, right?

Yep, its the same kit. Carriage would be £35.

Lead time is quite long at the moment.

We dont like to do orange as we have had issues with the colour fading on some (not all) of the calipers.

Youd need new bells, brackets and rotors to swap to 18s, its not viable. Youd be better off selling the smaller kit and buying the larger.

Janspeed 06 June 2009 03:06 PM

Unfortunately I need the brakes "now" since mine are knackered..........:freak3:

If we dont get more interest soon then Im going to alter the buy to supply from stock. Ill have to adjust the offer slightly but itll still be stonking and will be very similar to the current one :)

Depends on which wheels you are running, which offset, width etc.

the bear1986 09 June 2009 08:30 PM

hi bren which is the better kit the 330mm or the 356mm front 8 pot kit as i already have brembos on my bugeye sti.

bren@apex 09 June 2009 09:17 PM

356mm is better if you can fit them under your wheels.

radboy69 09 June 2009 09:29 PM

i have 18" oz wheels, how can i find out if 356mm will fit ....
any ideas
cheers

bren@apex 09 June 2009 10:04 PM

OZs are good for clearance. I have templates that you can print out and then offer up inside your wheel so you can determine what size will fit. I just ned your email address and Ill send it over :)

Janspeed 11 June 2009 01:31 PM

For the rear 330mm conversion, do you also have to perform a handbrake conversion on the 05 WRX?

bren@apex 11 June 2009 01:47 PM

Nope, bolts straight on. The kits bolt on to all the Imprezas, Legacys and Foresters :)

Sorry if i missed ths but what colours are aavailable for calipers ?

Dake 02 July 2009 01:36 PM

Hi Bren,
I tried to send you a pb but seems it's deactivated. I called your number and spoke to a nice lady but she said there were no deals to be had on k-sport brakes even if we were several people.
So I'm wondering is it just retail prices for k-sports (in which case I know I'll be going for some other kit) or can you help out? :thumb:

ponch 04 July 2009 12:20 PM

Hi Bren
I'm also interested in F&R kits for the STI GDB(E/F) for the prices advertised
And may be for additional F&R kits for Evo
Let me know if there's some chance of getting the prices announced for group buy.

Thanks in advance ;)

R4LLY 04 July 2009 01:55 PM

Would also be interested in a Front kit for a couple of different cars if the offer is open?

shifty83 05 July 2009 12:06 PM
