Great thanx. I saw you're 21, how much insurance is it for you? That's the only problem for me as i'm 22 and female, if that makes any difference!! Would need to sell my car to raise funds. How long would it take for me to get to you from Manchester?

Daz And Minty 29 January 2009 01:45 PM

Hi your 195 miles away about 3 hours, as for insurance well im on my mom's insurance right now paying around 1200 a year so all depends if you can get on your moms?

Anything you wanna know just ask ive had the car for a year and nothing gone wrong with her.. once you hear it in person you wont stop smiling :)

Thanks
Darryl

Daz And Minty 29 January 2009 02:11 PM

yep full decat exhaust cost us 600 quid money well spent :thumb:

scubydoo 29 January 2009 02:34 PM

what's the bhp?

Daz And Minty 29 January 2009 02:47 PM

i would say its got 218 as standard but with full decat and without map probally 230 atm ?

dan83590 29 January 2009 02:51 PM

If it is an import as standard it will 250bhp ish. With a remap or a chip in the ECU it'll go to 280bhp ish with the current mods.

scubydoo 29 January 2009 02:55 PM

tried with greenlight but they've emailed me back saying i currently fall outside of the acceptance criteria of their specialist vehicle schemes. Bet it's because I'm a woman! any other insurance advice you could give johnny2007?

Daz And Minty 03 February 2009 10:15 AM

Thanks m8, just goes to show how bad the market is right now or people really, really dislike green? :wonder:

Colour never bothers me

scubydoo 04 February 2009 11:25 AM

Is the car still for sale? You would take a part ex, even if it's a little run around? It's worth £1500 and how much cash would you want on top? Thanx Leah

scubydoo 04 February 2009 11:29 AM

Would you guys meet me half way or summat so i can look it over and test it? so i don't have to drive all the way?

Daz And Minty 04 February 2009 12:36 PM

We not looking for px to be honest m8, got another subaru waiting in the garage and if we were older we would keep them both.

£1600 cash is a complete bargain price considering we bought it for £2800 and the exhaust was over £600...

scubydoo 04 February 2009 01:09 PM

Yeah thought so, just thought it was worth an ask. Selling cars is a hassle I can't b arsed with! Good luck with sale

Blacksimus 04 February 2009 02:04 PM

oh man I'd sooo have this but need rid of my bmw first.

Anyone interested in a 1997 328i coupe? You'd be converting me back to scooby ownership again.

Daz And Minty 04 February 2009 03:45 PM

Why dont you sell it to a dealer and add a bit more cash and then you can buy it? :)

Blacksimus 04 February 2009 04:02 PM

I got this thing called a missus and she won't let me shell out anymore for a new motor. It was a battle for her to even let me put the beemer up for sale cos she loves it.
