SRV is (was) awesome - great blues voice too. He was friends with Hendrix and had his actual Wah Wah pedal :) The live SRV stuff is best.

Great technique but he kinda just does that one thing with the slapping/rythm and the harmonics as in YouTube - Andy Mckee - Art of Motion - Guitar - www.candyrat.com

Cos it's been done a million times before? ;) Look back to the 80's and get yer Yngwie, Vinnie Moore, Tony McAlpine and Jason Becker albums out for that kind of music (but done better!) :D Neo classical is so old fashioned lol
He only taps with one finger! I was into 8 fingered tapping like Jeff Watson from Nightranger!)
Ah - those were the days....12hr rehearsals with breaks only to go to the chippy or pub! :)

I do play, though not as much as I would like anymore. I've not really improved in years though which is a shame, maybe I'll get lessons eventually as I'm about as far as I can go teaching myself.
