Just watched the video, extreme case of typical "white van man" ars3hole imho.

You get to see the **** in all his glory at the end of the video, proper chav looking and he`s on a curfew as well and hence probalby dwelling at the lower end of the social ladder chain.

a 300bhp + car dispatching a row of cars in mere seconds in my eyes is acceptable if visibility is good, weather conditions good and no junctions thus the only danger is another car pulling out.

this c0ck in his slow ass w4nker white van taking an eternity to go past as his 80bhp engine squeals its dumb ass of is a different kettle a fish, all imho of course.

lol sorry if this sounds strong but i see it all the time, then theres the white van men that do it on chevrons as well. Ive even been cruising along at 60 in my scoob and had numerous vans tailgate me then go past on chevrons ffs. I dont boot it when this happens as it then increases the risk to us both.

i probably wouldnt be ranting so much if they didnt show him at the end of the vid, its one of those people you just want to dish a dry slap to on site anyway lol.

Seen teh vid now: Dangerous Driver Christopher Mark Graily Banned After Video Shows Him Overtaking Eight Cars At Once |Sky News|UK News

The stretch he overtook all the cars, there was no oncomming traffic, no junctions or entraces, on broken white lines. The cars he overtook, were all held up by a 7.5ton tipper. Which by default would be doing 56mph max, and possibly would be going slower than that.

I feel his prosecution is probably more due to his speeding, tailgating and hopping in and out of traffic more so than the actual overtake manouver itself. I noted the copper's camera vid showed the speedo needed calibrating, so maybe he pinned a dangerous driving charge on him instead of speeding?

Thinking about it I've overtook 5 cars on the trot in a Transit. :lol1:

Again, Roman road, huge tailback due to a bunch of cotton buds at the front and no one willing to overtake. It was a 115bhp SWB though, so it did have the poke, should the need arise (just).

One good thing about vans (and trucks, SUVs) is the good view of the road ahead to overtake....its nearly impossible to overtake in my NSX as its too low....my vision ahead is blocked by pretty much any car in front, even when hanging back (usually held up by a meandering SUV  ).
