I am sure I asked this before Rob but which of the top 5 did you train with?

Budgie 02 April 2008 09:16 PM

sorry rob
been doing this for over 20 years now
been investigated
had bad accountants
found good ones
i know what you say is true
but you sound a bit like an inland revenue leaflet
full of quotes that actually say nothing precise

strange then that people pay me many hundreds of pounds an hour to advise them in business matters! I shall have to refund for all the un-precise information i've given out!!

not that I like agreeing with you but the people you tend to meet in the top firms aren't the best. Not much character.

sorry rob
i didnt say you gave your clients un-precise information
just that your post said nothing precise
have you ever read the inland revenue leaflet
"are you or are you not self employed"
its like it was written by phil redmond
full of half facts and contradictions
read between the lines and use the facts that suit you best
thats all i have ever done

budgie(squeaky clean)(no mates)(msoc)(not a sheep):D

Rob,

When did you work at D & T? I used to know a lot of people there as they were the auditors for the place I used to work for. Still know one or two attached to the company :)

frayz 03 April 2008 06:04 AM

Oh the joys of being PAYE...

Getting in in the arse from the tax man more than most :(

It was 2001/2/3. I worked in business process outsourcing as an assistant manager. The partner of my division was a lady called Mary Reilly - she now is on the Olympic Committee. hope that helps
