just to set the record straight, foreign lorry drivers give us all a bad name, us brit lorry drivers are normally the most professional on the road, the only time we drive aggressively is when somebody else makes a mistake, normally car drivers who don't even realise what they've done wrong, like cutting in front of a fully freighted wagon and slamming the brakes on cos they realise that they're coming up to the slip road/exit they want to take........ask me or big mick how hard it is to bring 44ton to a quick stop! Better still, go out with a lorry driver for a day to see things from our point of view, a couple of my mates have done just that and it seriously opened their eyes

Total agreement here, cars just dont realise or take time to think how big these things are and whats needed to stop them..........Used to find it very frustrating when I was Mutha Trucker.... |
