A few years back a mate of mine was giving a crow bar some with a large hammer, the end of the crow shattered and a bit about the size of a tooth pick went straight into his eye ball. Rushed straight to the eye hospital and a few days later was back at work with a patch on it, he recovered ok, amazing how often these things happen... needless to say eye protection is a must even if you do look a c0 ck wearing goggles.

You really are very foolish to take a risk with your eyesight, you must get it checked as soon as you can. They may well be able to give you some medication to ease the pain and help the eye to recover quickly too.

If your eye is sensitive to light then you probably already have an infection in it. GET TO HOSPITAL NOW (if you haven't already done so).

go get it checked i got a piece of metal splinter bang in the middle of my pupil but didn't realise until it started to hurt on a Saturday night, trust me i was straight up the eye infirmary on the Sunday morning and had to go back everyday for a week so they could try and dig it out with a needle, and yes i did get a bollocking by said nurse

i got a bit of plastic in my eye from cutting with a jigsaw rubbed it and got on with my work..... woke up in the morning opened my eyes only to be hit with an unbearable pain so i phoned in sick and stayed at home my other half told me to get to the hospital that morning but being that im real man i thought id leave it to heal. left it for bout 3 days in the end i had to go to the hospital as i couldnt even open my eye it turned out the tiny bit of plastic that hit me in the eye when i rubbed it cut my cornea and sat just underneath it then the cornea healed over the bit of plastic which apparently can heal as quickly as half an hour anyway they put anesthetic in there and whilst i was fully awake proceeded to slice across the cornea with a scalpal and then with a hyperdermic needle fish the foreighn body out which is not a nice memory GO TO THE HOSPITAL YOU DONT WANT TO PLAY WITH YOUR EYESIGHT!!!!!!!!!!1
