when lotus brought out the elise, they invited lotus clubs to the launch for a test drive etc.........why do subaru dealers not do the same for this new impreza????? i could be tempted myself..........actually no, im after a mercedes now!

Yep have to agree Renaults can have some starting probs - normally crankshaft sensors or coils - have to say we've been lucky ( touch wood)

im sure there are some that slipped through the net and were actually made as per sketch but all in all as far as reliability they have for as long as i remember been bad in comparison to jap cars so if it was my choice it would be japanese everytime.

My better half also decided that her Astra was crap in the snow last week, so on Monday evening we test drove the new Subaru's.

'The 1.5 sucks, no power, the worst thing she has ever driven.' The 2.0 R, 'great' so much better than the 1.5, puts a smile on your face, but without the 'in your face' of the previous model. and fairly cheap to insure, Endsliegh quoted £168 fully comp.

the wife really seemed to like it tbh,but then came the civic 1.8vtec ex which she liked just as much although both had there good and bad points.The spec was quite high on this model too almost the same actually apart from bluetooth kit in the honda.
So hopefully by monday she will decide.
