theres nothing we can do about the petrol prices and at the end of the day the average price for super is £1.10 approx 10p more a litre, so if you fill up your only paying £4 more so who cares thats the way ive been thinking any way, i usually put about £25 quid a week in so its an extra £2.50. other than that do your shopping at tesco and get the 5p off a litre !!

i am off to oz in may/june so i will enjoy 2 quid a gallon so have another 20 years or so of flat 4 rumble without pain !!!!:notworthy

I have given up. My Impreza will be for sale by the end of the week. Even though I have only done 10000 miles in the last 2 years in it, the price of super unleaded along with insurance and servicing costs has been enough to put me off. Dont get me wrong, I love it to bits, but I cant justify it anymore. Replaced it with a brand new Renaultsport Clio 197 F1 Team. Not the best car in the world I know, but a good compromise I think. Anyone interested in an 04 reg WRX in Silver with 24500 miles and full dealer history ?!

i bought my wrx about 2 months ago. In commute in the summer on my bike, so the car never gets used then, however being winter now (yes Im a FWB !!!) i used the car (rather than the train). Worked out, with weekend drivng, I was putting almost 300 a month !!!!!
Now take the train !!! and use car for weekend.... |
i wouldnt give up the scooby up. i just couldnt do it,i love it to much, if i couldnt afford to run it. i would be forced to buy another (cheap)car but still keep the scoobs with my fingers crossed that it would come down.
i must admit i do drive about looking for the cheapest fuel even though i waste more, |
