Real mature.

Dan W 07 December 2007 02:57 PM

given the sensitive nature of the content of the original post isn't better to give rover51 the benefit of the doubt?

if he turns out to be a troller there is no real harm done.

If he ain't a troller and is genuine then aspects of our community arel eft looking a little silly. And heartless.

i thought we were a friendly mature bunch.:(

My feelings exactly. What do they say about assumption? :wonder:

It was a very friendly place to be, then it became popular :)

I always assume I'm right. :thumb:

Seriously though. Reading the original post, it just didn't look right. OK some people can't spell very well, but the whole post was incoherent.

And all that stuff about being deaf as to why you can't spell? Come on

Spelling is often a problem for Deaf people. Some words can be learned by sound and I still use this method myself. The word LEOPARD sounds as if it should be spelt LEPPUD. So when I write the word, I say LEO-PARD in my head. And for the word ‘definitely’ I say DEF-I-NITE-LY to myself as I write. A Deaf person would find it difficult to use this method and would have to rely mainly on using a visual method of learning.

Took less than 30secs on google to discover if it was an issue or not.

If this is true, its a very sad tale.....

Firstly, for your late son...
Secondly for your hearing impedement...

and Thirdly for you sad concern of as lump of japanese metal, which has probably been smashed, stolen, and broken into several times since.

its only a car..!!!

worry about you landrover and your missus instead!!

landrover51 07 December 2007 08:01 PM

jim16v 08 December 2007 07:40 PM

hi landrover51. if you ring dvla you can find out for a fee, where the car is now, i did this with my wife's old astra sport as we wanted to buy it back,

hope this helps you.

just so everybody knows, the dvla contacts the new seller first before giving any information out, this provents "car being located then stolen"
