- another slight hi jacking here, sorry.
Ok guys , I got my 60 k service coming up. Ive taken my cars to the same guy for years. He does everything properly at a good price. The parts he charges like half what the dealer charges. I trust this guy he even does a full valet on the cars even just on an mot test. He services all sorts of sports cars, ferraris, aston martins and all common cars. Im sure he is capable of servicing an Impreza. Should I take my car there??? Whats so good about the Subaru dealers?? apart from an official stamp? Thanks for any advice/help. |

I'd look at the reciepts ot comfirm there autenticity ;) If done correctly for a Newage STi with DCCD as a rough guide BTW possibly take off £20-90 (cheapest- dearest) if a non DCCD STi or WRX due to not changing DIFF gear Oils "Independants" from 1/5K = £80 10K = £140 20K= £230 30K= £300 "specialists" from 1/5K = £100 10K = £200 20K= £250 30K= £350 "Dealers" from 1/5K = £120-160 10K = £230-300 20K= £320-410 30K= £450-550 Dealers prices vary greatly, although Parts used and hours charged are set by Subaru, they are exactly the same, its because their Hourly Charge rate is much higher ;) lots of Dealers still do price match or SIDC discount ask before you cough up ;) IMHO. Hope this puts your mind at rest Tony |
