The film was originally titled Revenge of the Jedi, and the original teaser trailer for the film carried this moniker.[16] A released teaser poster created by Bill Pate containing the dismissed title has since become a rare collector's item.[17] However, a few weeks before the film's premiere, Lucas changed the title, saying "revenge" could not be used as Jedi do not seek revenge.[1] The 2005 prequel trilogy film Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith later alluded to the dismissed title of Revenge of the Jedi.[18] |
Empire is the best film. Dark and menacing with some superb backdrops. The original will always hold that something special about it though.

Think I've got to go for the original one - episode IV. The start of the film when the Star Destroyer starts coming onto the screen, and keeps coming... and coming... and coming... just caught my imagination.

I remember watching episode IV as a kid and thinking what's happened to episodes 1-3.
It must be really confusing for youngsters to watch all six and think WTF when episode 4 comes on :D. Original was best - as always :) |
