Tottenham have never had any consistency, and looking at the injuries they've got, they're miles away from this alleged top 5 spot.

Newcastle for example were realling after a succession of bad managers, appointed by Fat Freddy (tm) eg. Souness, Roeder, etc... :cry: Bolton were punching above their weight, Everton have no money, Man City were floundering under Pearce, etc... Spurs had actually got their act together while everyone else was in turmoil and finished the season in the appropriate position. :notworthy What I'm saying is THIS season, they won't have it so easy. :luxhello: In fact, I see an opening in the top 4 - Arsenal aren't what they used to be and Liverpool have never shown consistency in the Premiership under Benitez or Houlier. |

Plenty of work to do for Big Sam , but he'll still get us inside top 8 by the end of the season which is a worthy target for now.
Credit to Villa's defence who did a good job. We missed a creator in the midle of the park to breakdown their defence - looking forward to Joey Barton getting back from injury. |
